Meet the team

Dr Muhammad Saghir is a Chemical Engineer with specialisation in Bioenergy Technologies and he gained his PhD from Aston University’s European Bioenergy Research Institute (EBRI).

With experience as the founder of two previous start-ups specialising in biodiesel consultancy and manufacture, he has served as a Bioenergy Plant Manager for three years at the European Bioenergy Research Institute. 

Dr Muhammad has a wide portfolio of skills including NEBOSH Certificate, Managing Safely (IOSH), HazOp analysis, ILM Leadership and Management certificate and most recently he is on course to be certified in Production Inventory Management (CPIM from APICS). He has also served as a technical board member at British Biochar Foundation.
